About our Family: We celebrated our second wedding anniversary in a truly blessed way. On December 21, 1976 our first daughter, Cara, was born. Suddenly, there were little pink booties, pink clothes, pink blankets...pink everything...everywhere! Little did we know that this was just the beginning of our "pink" world. During the next five years, three daughters would follow: Megan, Shannon and Brittany. In the midst of all the diapers, dollies and delirium we discovered what a remarkable bond four sisters can develop while growing up together. When it came time for formal schooling, we didn't want those bonds to be broken. So, in 1981 we began the most exciting journey of our life. We began homeschooling. Now our four homeschool graduates have moved beyond the secure walls of home to attend college, work within in the community, marry and have children of their own. Our homeschool journey is continuing with the next generation! We have lots of tales to tell about what has happened along the way. If you'd like to know more, just ask us!
